Low-Low's 6 mths Old!
I really can't wrap my mind around the fact that my baby is 6 months old. It's even stranger to think he is the third baby I have birthed, my other babies aren't babies anymore. Lowell came into our life as such a sweet sole and continues to be that way. His birth was empowering for me. I love to have photographed the 6 month phase of life. The wobbling sitting baby, the toothless grin. The only eyes for mamma face.
Lowell loves to scoot all over the Airstream. He loves his nursing sessions with mamma and is always happy to take a nap curled up next to me. He never wants his own toys but instead wants Graham's cars. Graham can hold Lowell and loves helping out! Isla says, "I'm a strong girl but Lowell is heavy." Lowell is a great sleeper but only on me. He loves to smile every time you look at him. He is not into food, aside from breastmilk, he doesn't see the point.
Living in an Airstream with an infant and two young children has been a challenge. Toddlers are loud, their toys are loud (have you heard a Duplo lego tower fall over?) Finding safe floor space for him to play is tight, with dogs and big kid toys looming around every corner. We have made it work, we have at least 2 more months in the Airstream before our home renovation is complete bringing our total time living in the Airsteam to 19 months.
Lowell has these hazel eyes, with blonde eyelashes and eyebrows. He has a long neck and skinny arms, fat little legs. I want to remember every part of him as I have tried to remember my first 2. The baby phase is so difficult but yet so precious and so incredibly fleeting.
It's hard to remember to enjoy the moments of everyday when you're blurry-eyed from lack of sleep. I have to remind myself that he will sleep eventually and I will long for the hours snuggles.
Happy half-birthday Low-low!
