One Year of Travel- 23 States, 3 Countries, 163 Points of Interest- Full Time Family Travel
January 6th, 2016 we sold our house and our adventure began. I can not believe it has been a year! We have sold our stuff, traveled thousands of miles, slept in tents, a t-pee, hotels, taken a cruise, visited 2 foreign countries, drove the U.S. (my husband several times), drove to Canada, bought an Airstream, stayed in rental homes, boondocked, got a new tow vehicle and got pregnant with our 3rd child. All of this with 2 toddlers and 2 dogs in tow.
Our biggest moments this year are going to look similar to your own.
Isla turning 1!
Buying our "home" and moving in...
This year has been a growing experience. We have struggled with our space, donated countless items we thought we needed, gone days without any signal to contact the outside world, met hundreds of truly great individuals, experienced simple living, nurtured our children and ourselves. We hiked more this year, skied more this year, drove more this year and loved more this year than any other year I can remember. We have taken thousands of photos and bought only a handful of souvenirs. The best part is our journey isn't ending. We have the whole next year to look forward to more adventures. As we start the next year of our adventures lets look back at the past year at some of my quick-pick favorite photos.
Stay tuned for more posts recapping out first year....in the meantime play with this cool Instagram map I made using this website HERE. You can zoom in and click on the various photos we posted. I love using Instagram to collect memories. Oh, and go follow us on Instagram and Facebook!
